We've been on the road for 37 days and really enjoying ourselves. We spent 2 great days with our granddaughters and loved every minute of it. Spent a couple of days at Ft. Knox Ky and Ft. Campbell Ky where we were stationed while in the military. They have changed so much but so much fun to see the first house we rented after getting married, couldn't believe it was still there. Ft Campbell is its only little town almost, since the 101 Airborne Division is there now. Enjoyed the Px and commisary, so different from when we were there. We leave Leesburg Alabama headed to Ft. Benning where Randy was in basic training. We so enjoyed Leesburg where we have my husbands oldest friend from his Army days. Him and his wife are 2 of the sweetest people. If we had more like them the world would be a wonderful place. Stayed in a little Motel RV park, we were the only ones, but it was so much fun to sit by the lake. I didn't get to fish, so mad, i've been sick and afraid of the chilly weather. Better get better soon cause Destin Fl is coming and I refuse to be sick there. Here's some more picks of our adventure. The gun is from a Barbeque place in NC, I said they must be really serious about their food, haha!!!! Some pics of the girls from their stay will us in the rv, fishing in 45 degree weather was very interesting but we laughed about it. They loved playing Yahtzee in the rv and Kenzie's Bday was so much fun in the rv.
